Living in Roeselare (Belgium)

You could describe my actual paintings as figurative to slightly abstract , especially easy to understand .

I’ve been also trying to develop a specific  style.

First the characters seemed to be derived from some comic strip, but gradually  you could see them evolve to their actual form.

The characters move in between these comics and some kind of expressionism. This can especially be seen in the meaningful eyes of my imaginative characters.

The attentive observer cannot deny my admiration for Modigliani’s paintings. You will regularly recognize details out of the works of this great 19^th centuary Italian artist .

Each artist feels the inner urge to express his emotions.His work can be considered as successful when he can observe his feelings being reflected byn his public. (admiration, shiver, a smile,aversion, tears)
